Owner of Clinical Waste Solutions, Gavin Moore and his team have been working with CW Marketing for a few years. It wasn’t until March 2019 that Gavin approached us about a new site. Following a meeting with Gavin to discuss his requirements, we designed a website that would be:
Their existing website had become increasingly outdated, with many ‘old school’ SEO tactics still in place that now actually have negative effects on search engine rankings. The site, in general, just needed a good freshen up!
With all of this in mind, we put together a site map for them to review which took into account all of the important services that they offered, sectors that they serve, resources that they wanted their clients to have access to, and online forms.
When reworking the design of the CWS website, we had to be very aware of the target audience and who would be visiting the website most. In this case, it’s likely to be operations/facilities managers of businesses producing clinical waste.
With this in mind, we needed a clean, easy to navigate design that allowed people to find the pages they needed quickly, with little distractions but plenty of calls to action. At the end of the day, the goal is to get as many leads generated as possible through phone calls and/or contact form completions.
To allow the site to be completely editable, for both Gavin, his team and us, it was created using Visual Composer.
Visual Composer is a WordPress plugin that allows you to drag and drop elements to build or edit your WordPress website.
This means that new pages, posts and elements can easily be added to the website when required, and Gavin and his team could be easily trained to do this.
The finished website provides a complete solution for clients looking for solutions for their business’ clinical waste.
It is easy to navigate to either the specific service they’re looking for, or the sector that they operate in so that they can discover all the services relevant to their industry.
They have also continued to achieve top rankings for their target keywords, and we look forward to seeing their success more as time goes on.
